Halo is a solo project of Modern Classical/Ambient music by Italian composer Pasquale Riviezzo, 24 y.o. He is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Pasquale has been playing the piano for 16 years and guitar for 10, and started his musical project Halo as a way to express his personal thoughts and feelings, linking the classical sounds of piano and string instruments with the endless possibilities offered by contemporary electronic/ambient music production.
His first EP "Late Winter Tales" was released in May 2012 by Canadian label Dewtone Recordings . A collection of B-Sides from 2012, Scenes from the four seasons, was then released in March 2013.
A new EP, Song of the Highest Tower, was released in March 2014 as a contribution to the "Places Series" project by the ambient/electronic record label A Strangely Isolated Place.
Two new Singles were released in 2015, "Rain Says", a lush ambient composition sampled violin sounds mixing in the natural sounds of a rainy city, for the LP 'Europe' for the ASIP label, and "The sense that we make", a thoughtful and heartfelt collaboration with the Greek artist Hior Chronic on the Singapore/Japan based "Kitchen Label" imprint.
Pasquale also collaborates with Le Blanc Records label. His music has already been broadcasted on national radios in Australia (ABC) and Canada, online radios worldwide, and featured in short movies/spots.
